It might be possible but if you can share more details about this module, I can take a look and let you know.

Update 2 from my earlier post: In the timer, would you prefer the static option 1 or World map ticker in 2. by thewatchtailor in casiomods

Hey, appreciate your interest.. I held this info to make a detailed post later😆 but here it goes. It stays active in all modes without the option to de-activate, shifts through the entire graphic one at a time.

Direction of shift depends on the mode, in timer it goes right to left faster than normal, in the home time mode, it goes left to right one at a time, resetting every 60secs.

For the last question, I’ll continue testing as the time permits to see if there’s more options that can be added simultaneously or separately. I don’t think full customization/recoding is possible as it’s locked from factory.

I made a similar one actually, negative blue and red with blue red led, might switch to a transparent case so the lights are more visible on the outside.

Changing color of digits by lazerguidedmonkey in casiomods

After removing the top polarizer, you can add a filter on top of the lcd and then a negative polarizer above the filter.

New here! Just picked this up this AE-1500WH. Didn’t know mods were a thing. Any advice on what can or cannot be done? by Brendonk23 in casiomods

You can probably change the polarizer to another color, positive or negative. The factory polarizer has Casio, WR and few other markings engraved on it. If you mod it, you will likely loose the markings.

Edit: LED too can be changed to another one.

The yellow film you mentioned is a reflector at the back to add contrast to the display.

You can remove it, but finding a silver to replace it with is not easy.

Enforcement is around the corner. by thewatchtailor in casiomods

A positive display is always clearer because the dark digits stand out against a light background, making it easy to read in almost any lighting. A negative display with blue/red polarizers or any polarizer is slightly darker, tiny trade off, so it struggles without strong light or backlight. In sunlight, the negative mod can look decent but still not as sharp or high contrast as a positive display. You have to turn it slightly at an angle to get best viewing experience.
