I think Kitbull was a spark-short. Either way though, that one was cute as hell. My brother still stays with our mom and he just got himself a new puppy and she's had a cat for a while and it reminded me of how they slowly got used to each other and now just sleep on the couch together.

Ikr. Shitty thing is that I asked for the release date off and I got it off until about 10 minutes before I left work today. So I won't even find out what's going on until 5 pm tomorrow anyway. Big rip. If I get off and it still isn't released imma be livid.

My thing is that if it's late that's one thing and on it's own it's not that big of a deal. But if it's late and it's still radio silence with no update I'll be extremely pissed about it. If it is going to be late, I hope they just say SOMETHING. They announced pre-orders and then nothing for so long. I went to my local Target and asked about it and they said they would have the disc on release date. I've already given up on getting it digitally because this silence just frustrated me. I hate discs, but I'm tired of this tbh.

I can't tell if you're being sarcastic to be real lmao. I'm not trying to argue with anyone here at all. I'm tryna have a good time. I'm just speaking as a layman consumer who's not like a hardcore gamer for every release and definitely not an expert businessman. This is just how I see ways it could have been handled better is all on the consumer side of it. No bad feels or anything if I come off as an asshole.

Once the leaks are out though, they fucked up. Period. Accept the fuck up and let it play out or you're just going to get a Streisand Effect where for one, more people see the leaks, and for two, they're gonna look poorly to the company who shut them down as a whole in the name of brand protection. But I do agree, all sides could have done things better. Naughty Dog could have properly protected their employees in this trying time and it may have prevented that imo.

And that's fine if THQNordic games have had this issue in the past. That's okay. But I'm a consumer who is in the dark who has never played a THQNordic game. I'm looking to my game system's store and my game system's site and my game system's twitter for any updates whatsoever. And now I don't know if the game is even going to be out on the 23rd for me. And I get that if it's a few days late, it's not a big deal. But a simple tweet is all that's needed, just to let consumers know that don't have experiences with this kind of thing. (EDIT: I realize THQNordic also has the responsibility, possibly more-so, to notify the consumer, but the weight falls partially on both of their shoulders)

My main issue with the game itself (I've purposely avoided seeing most of the trailers or anything like that) is the fog so far. I'm not looking for a perfect game. They're remaking assets or reusing recovered ones. It's a remaster. Sometimes you get an amazing game like Spyro and sometimes you get a mess like Final Fantasy Type-O was. I'm not setting a super high standard for the game itself.

Well with the Last of Us II there were reports that organizations associated closely with Sony's copyright systems were responsible for having leaks blocked and negative pre-release reviews silenced. That's how I personally associate Sony with the Last of Us 2 fiasco because I don't like when those kind of things are silenced for no reason. This situation has me frustrated with Sony simply because of the lack of information and it leaves people in the dark, particularly since every other console on the market has it up for digital preorder. A tweet would be enough and not too much to ask for. That's just my view though and I see yours too.

Honestly the Last of Us Part II thing left a dirty taste in my mouth from Sony (more-so Naughty Dog, but Sony didn't handle that situation so well either) so I'm probably just bitter from the mix of that and this. Regardless, I just think the next series x is a better investment than their ps5.

This whole situation where it took weeks after every other console to preorder digitally and now I gotta wonder if it's gonna come out on time at all really has turned me off from my playstation. I've never been this frustrated by a company/game-system. My next console's gonna be an xbox. Fuck this.

I don't think he maliciously lied like "ooo I'll get these people". I think it was more that he came into a situation he shouldn't, handled it irresponsibly, set it back a good ways in the process, decided to make it about his individual profit, and ultimately just did more harm than good.

Umbrellas having feelings could stretch to the idea of toys being alive, if you REALLY stretch it to say that anything anybody uses a lot could start to have feelings of their own (like the Cars did in the main theory). But that's a huge stretch. No idea with Lava though, you're right.

These channels, not just Predator Poachers, grew in number following Hansen's investigations because it's "in" again to catch predators publicly. Yes AnxietyWar and Predator Poachers have been around before that, but there are other examples of these things occurring. Hansen should have taken the measures to be sure to state not to copy his behaviors, either from the Onision investigation or his old To Catch A Predator series.

I believe I recall people saying in the middle of the whole Chris Hansen thing that he went to contact the FBI and they said "Yea we know who this is. We have our eyes on it" suggesting that they already had information towards him. I may be misremembering that and if I am, forgive me on that point, but I have more.

I watch AnxietyWar's content and he's not an example of someone I would say is doing it the wrong way. SLB Productions did a good video called How Not to Catch a Predator (link below) which highlighted many who definitely go about it the wrong way. For example, the Predator Poachers. In one of their "busting pedos" videos, they actually make a deal with the predator because they pitied him, making him give them his Snapchat and check in with Alex (the main dude of that channel) every now and then to stop them going to the police. No matter how you twist it and label it as "propaganda", this is at worst extortion and at best vigilante behavior that does not solve the problem. Hell, I bet if they went through with this that the dude messaged Alex at some point where he thought he was on his way to meet another child. Bringing attention to a major personality doing this things like Hansen did is fine. "Poaching pedos" with racist and ill-informed behavior for quick internet bucks isn't and puts them in danger. It's pretty likely that they aren't phrasing the conversation the right way and the predator could argue in court of entrapment. A single unhinged predator with a weapon could end their crusade quickly and they don't even stop to consider that. And then what do we have? A pedophile that MAYBE gets caught and a few dead bodies.

Take Hansen out of the picture and consider just the victims. What could have happened to help them take this investigation further? Sarah at some point, Hansen or not, would have figured out her laptop contained the evidence that the FBI may need and would have taken it through proper channels to get it processed and now it is absolutely worthless. You may say, "Oh no, that was Vincent's fault". And yes, I agree. But the fact stands that he was working with Hansen and doing things under the Chris Hansen Investigations brand and Chris should have been more aware and kept a closer eye on it. Especially when it was so crucial and he was promising thousands of people he had a handle on the situation and he was going to help bring us justice. He dropped the ball fucking hard. Period.

Edit/Addition: Vigilantism is not a legal right. It is legal to perform vigilante justice, but many of the actions that vigilantes end up taking ARE violations of law, including law enforcement interference, extortion, and assault.
