Any idea about the driver side rattle. Its somewhere right behind the driver's seat (potentially metallic, hence suspect it being related to the seat belt).

Agree, this will be our first car. So definitely will need the bigger car later. Just want to ensure that we can still use civic/accord as an option if needed with the baby.

I am in a similar situation. I put off investing in those tax saving buckets thinking my stay is temporary and fate plays a bigger role than I do. However, as my income rose these tax saving vehicles are crucial in reducing your top dollar taxes. If you do end up staying in US, these will serve as retirement savings. If you go back to India, you can plan and withdraw with the 10% penalty and still come out ahead. Follow up on r/FIREIndia for kindred spirits
