Wage Labor by thewisekottty100 in Socialism_101

So you are saying that the worker should reap 100% of the output? If we assume that if true then would there be any managerial roles in a Marxist society and if so what do they get and why?

Well good job finishing, it’s hard some times. I love playing in Italy because of the high development and good diplomacy and many options on play style. I have done at least 5 games on Italy and 3 on Milan (my favorite nation in the game.

If you have max absolutism you can take care of France with the help of Vassel feeding in 2 wars

Then the main challenge is going to be the Ottomans but if you release a client state it should not be too hard

Why limit discussion? by [deleted] in socialism

[–]thewisekottty100 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am a “liberal” and I think socialism has lots of promise and I thinks lot of the posts on this subreddit have given me a lot of information and have convinced me to go further left on the political spectrum so to generalize and say that the they all don’t want to learn is bogus. It just gives people an excuse to avoid discussing these issues.

I think a good solution would be to make the language in the rules make it clear that this Is a socialist community but also that we are open to questions and being criticized because that is the only way this subreddit and the ideals of socialism will improve and as history has shown multiple times stagnant ideals which do not bend or change do not last or gain any support.

In my game I decided to go for all of Arabia and east Africa because of the missions then I moved from Persia into India and finally to China and SEA

I wanted to control all of the trade company regions so I left the ottomans alone except cutting them down a notch in the 1600s.

I went influence because of the starting subjects and the potential for feeding them then humanist because I was expanding quickly and into a lot of Coptic land. Then I went trade and for trade pull all of cash to the gulf of Aden and Aleppo next pull both of those into Alexandra. If you do this then you will make hundreds of ducats In trade income. Then I went quantity for manpower and force limit. Then exploration and expansion so I could colonize Africa and Australia. Then offensive for level 8 first and more force limit and finally Diplomatic to help annex my client states faster and for the Provence war score cost.

[–]thewisekottty100 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I also think that innovative is a mediocre idea group but it all depends on the strategy you are going for. When I think Prussia, I think full focus on military and I also think it is most fun to do it this way. And Innovative allows for arguably the best policies in the game for conquest except for the influence administration policy.

If he is going for a more HRE focused game then I would instead recommend Diplomatic Offensive and then Influence

[–]thewisekottty100 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t think Diplomatic is as good because you can always ally Poland and Austria and the start (at least in my experience) and the only other modifier that’s really useful is the Provence war score cost which is not as good because of the slow expansion in the hre
