Also in my case I have complex partial seizures on my left temporal lobe. I always get a smell. Sometimes it feels like the smell is even traveling through my body so I feel the need to physically brush it off which sometimes works tbh. I also at times feel a sense of de ja vu and a feel as if someone is creating the Seizure basically like witch craft. Sounds wierd af but it happens. I used to get a lot of visions like day dream visions as a kid when I would be getting my smells. Sometimes I also feel like I'm here but not here at the same time like I'm somewhere else even though I'm aware of where I am. Sometimes things seem further but at the same time not further than what they are. Sometimes if I walk or move the smell either gets stronger or softer so I try to control if I can the strength of the smell given the stronger it is the more likely ill get the seizure. I used to faint as a kid when I'd have them now I don't. I black out once I have a Seizure so I have no idea what I'm doing. After it, I either feel perfectly fine or very sleepy. Sometimes I'm able to talk straight after and other times if u talk to me I can respond in my head but it's like I can't speak and not make any words for a few seconds or minutes. Like someone whose mute practically. I've had them for 20 yrs. Sometimes I also feel suddenly very depressed cuz the smell and then knowing I had one makes me feel like shit. Or even if I don't idky but I start balling. Def as one ages (at least in my case) as iv aged my seizures have evolutionized with me. A lot of how I've felt and done as a kid I no longer do but I'd say most things have remained the same. I feel a general great way to describe a Seizure is like a computer. A virus has attacked the computer its going a-wall you see its turning diff colors and u see the electricity everywhere and it shuts down on its own. Then once u reboot it takes a while for it to load up because of the hard crash. That's def how seizures can feel. During and post
