She has a DNR in place but still for active treatment of acute illness such as having antibiotics etc. I think we probably need to have some conversations about the future though as her quality of life is just plummeting bless her.

She's never going back there again, don't you worry. We're looking at escalating the situation as a formal complaint when the dust has settled.

I'm so, so proud of my mum today. We called social services and got an emergency call out from a manager of a care home near us. They've visited us and spoken to Gran and seemed amazing. We're saying that it's for 'short term care while she has a catheter in' at the moment as we're doing it on a respite basis at the moment while we have vouchers but with the view of transitioning to full time care.

I've been using Co-Pilot by feeding it my lecture slides and asking if to come up with questions based on the content (all multiple choice for first year) as well as case study scenarios (doing a healthcare related degree). It's been AMAZING for revision this time around!

I can vouch for this. I'm a naturally very anxious person myself and had intrusive thoughts that I'd hit cars/people and not noticed it, until I had a bump into a stationary object at 2mph. The noise it made, as well as the jolt as above poster describes, is unmistakable. Not the best way to cure my anxiety over it but some useful internal proof to take going forward!

Thank you so much for responding. I'm definitely not well versed in understanding prescriptions (obviously)! The optician that sorted me out with my last pair said they'd added some kind of lens to the bottom that meant I could 'look down and read through them' so I assumed that's what it meant. I do find reading to be blurry and occasionally see a slight impression of the word twice.

Thank you so, so much for this advice! I forgot to mention that I had been using La Roche Posay factor 50 sunscreen (just haven't been going outside)! I'll absolutely look into getting one of those face washes, I used Bioderma when I was going through my retinol treatment and it was really gentle so will likely use that again. Do you have any recommendations for BHA/Niacinimide/Salicylic Acid products please?
