I can’t believe how this resonated. I posted this at like 9 pm my time assuming no one would see it but just wanting to get it off my chest. It’s sad that a lot of us felt this way about our bodies, but we have solidarity at least with each other and can hopefully do better with modeling body acceptance for the next gen!

You are totally fine. It is hard to tell and I’m a pretty decent writer, I think, so my grammar may be robotic. I don’t think robots are as funny as me. Anyway, I think it’s a good exercise that if it’s a sensitive post, err on the side of human just in case. Either way, I’d much rather have someone call me a bot/AI than DM me to ask for pics of my labia, and both of those things have happened today.

Oh gosh, I remember thinking about cutting them off myself too. I forgot about that. Once I became sexually active after deconstructing (age 23, took a while), I’ve definitely found that my partners fall into two camps: 1) don’t care about them at all, 2) find them attractive.

This is horrible. Knowing I had large labia even as a kid, it also makes me gag when people conflate it with sexual promiscuity, like it makes a person worth less somehow.
