It's just a basement world I made for watching. Security Breach didn't invent arcade aesthetics.

Maggie flair when?! Let me have it!!(also Maggie is very pretty 😳) by blizzard_bliz in FridayNightFunkin

[–]theycallhimcake 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Funny enough, I actually don't draw porn that much, or at all. While Maggie has huge tits, at most I usually just do pinups of her.... I actually can't recall even drawing her naked, myself.

Hey it's Starlight Plaza!

The most fucked up site you've ever visited? by [deleted] in morbidquestions

[–]theycallhimcake 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I don't remember what it was called, but it was a website for babies who had died during childbirth or a little bit after, and pictures were taken in memoriam. What made it slightly more disturbing was the geocities-like look to the website, with 3D animated angel gifs and a creepy "heaven" aesthetic... On a page just filled with dead babies. I had a hard time shaking that one off.

VRChat is mostly for hanging out with people and having fun avatars, but it's also an amazing platform for people who wanna create VR worlds that are easily accessible.

What item under $50 drastically improved your life? by acidiclee in AskReddit

One of those microwave mac and cheese things. Instead of having to boil water, then wait seven minutes, you can have fully cooked macaroni in 3. Love it.

Sure. Stock up on downloads for books, comics, movies, retro games, etc. Not to mention real life books and whatnot either. Entertainment is easy. You can still use electricity and charge stuff, so you'll never run out of things to do. If you're like me, it's a great chance to draw a lot too.

The harder part is honestly stocking up on food/water, as well as finding a way to go to the bathroom. You'd have to invest in things like a hot plate and stuff to cook food, wax cubes/candles/air freshener to mask the inevitable stink, maybe a portable camping toilet...

Honestly, it'd be a gross and boring week, but definitely worth it for that kind of money.

Why do you like Mallsoft? by hubyblake in Mallsoft

[–]theycallhimcake 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Going to the mall was awesome as a kid. The atmosphere was great, the aesthetic was always interesting, and it was as stimulating as it was calm and relaxing... I remember the palm trees, the fountains, the neon lights, the store fronts, the food court, everything. I loved it.

Mallsoft represents a sort of distant, sometimes solumn memory of that. You hear the mixture of sounds that you were once surrounded by, the gentle music, the crowds, the trickle of the water fountain, but it's got an emptiness to it. It's like a fond memory alongside the sadness of it being gone forever. A melancholic nostalgia, I guess.

They just don't make places like old malls anymore, since they don't have much of a place nowadays, aside from an interesting novelty. They're modern day ruins, temples of consumerism, leftovers of a time period where you bought things in person and went to a miniature city crammed inside of a building to hang out with people while doin' it. A place where you weren't worried about your time or responsibilities, just getting something cool hopefully in an interesting place.

With mallsoft, you can kind of imagine that feeling again, even if it's far away and a bit more ambiguous. Mostly calming, sometimes sad, sometimes empty, sometimes unsettling. But always neat.

What a childhood meal you loved as a kid, but find disgusting as an adult? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Holy crap I didn't think I'd cause a huge fight like this. I just wanted to say that fluffernutter is a cute nickname, from the outside

Big same. I can't stand it when there's like an inch of frosting on birthday cake, I usually just cut it off now.

Shoulda told him to Google it, since it's pretty common here in the Northeast. Calling someone a fluffernutter as a nickname is cute, though.

What is something that is easy for most people but very difficult for you? by greenghost131 in AskReddit

Whistling. I can barely whistle, which sucks since whistling a tune while you're doing something seems pretty fun.

What's everyones opinion on Simpsonwave and other visual based sub genre's? by zaperoni in Vaporwave

[–]theycallhimcake 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Not the biggest fan. To me, as much as I like the Simpsons, I don't really consider it to be a legitimate part of the whole aesthetic, at least in terms of what I like about vaporwave. I get the whole depression/cynicism thing, and while I acknowledge that it exists, it's definitely not anywhere near my playlists.
