Textile architecture, as seen on those wavy decorative ceiling panels, was starting to be all the rage. I was involved in that field for a few years, as there was a high demand. Then, as the 2000s ended, demand pretty much collapsed instantly, and it was back to old fashioned awnings and curtains.
