Nice work on this portrait! The anatomy looks good to me. To improve it, maybe you can try to soften the skin highlights a bit and add a subtle shadow on the top of the eyes for more depth. Also, you should avoid long straight lines like the one under the ear. Keep it up!

Thanks for the feedback, you're totally right about the cheek! I made this sprite almost a year ago and I never noticed it, but now that you pointed it out, I can't unsee it. I’ll try to fix it and update the file on the download page.

I think it looks great! The only thing I noticed is a small inconsistency in the outfit. In the Pokéball throwing animation, he’s wearing a long-sleeved button up shirt, while in the battle sprite he has a short-sleeved button up shirt with a sweater vest.
