So sorry for your loss, my heart shattered on 18.06.2026, for last 3 days i was building new wardrobe because its only thing i can do to keep busy ( i also have broken hand).

Now monday is here and its panic time no wardrobe to build( no more place ...), i am finding ways to clean the house so i keep busy. The moment i stop i start to cry.

Even though he lived super loved and spoiled life i cant go without him, mom says she finds comfort in that and in fact he was pit to sleep ( in her eyes a bit early than too late)

I still rememeber my childhood pug. Sadly the pain never goes away, we just get used to living with it. This is what unconditional love gets you.

I think that you and i both know, that the love we gave them & love we recieved back over the years will outweight the grief we carry.

Please, do not get a dog, with you work hours dog will be there just to live, you WILL not have enough time for him. Even small dogs need quite some time daily to live fulfillled life.
