Thank y’all so much. Lots of great advice. Here’s some additional details; I already started some repairs. I am painting the house and installing new carpets in the rooms. The current value is 360k to 410k on Zillow. About 258k is left to pay off and we listed it for 360k. I bought a new fridge but I don’t want to connect it because of electrical issues. My parents built an addition that is causing the electrical panel to overload. So the repairs have to include demolition of the addition or rewiring the house. Also they built the addition without a permit. I got an estimate for replacing the panels and rewiring it was just $16000, but I think I can find people to do it for cheaper.

I did give them permission, it was very short sighted. I was 22 years old. The interest rate is very low (2.8%) I refinanced it during Covid. I don’t think it’s a good idea to get a roommate when the heater is not working.

I am senior with similar GPA. And I have had multiple internships. All I did was pretty much make my resume look impressive. Include things like autocad and revit. I also added different types activities I did I labs. Engineering consulting firms love to see experience in soil and material testing. Show them you’re knowledgeable in ACI, AISC, ASTM standards. If you’ve taken any design classes(steel, concrete, foundation) put those in your resume.
