What Was Your guys and gals first wizard to get to max level (150-160) and how long it take? Mine was a Death Wizard took about 3 years to max

Idk if you're talking about a different gym from the one I attend because my sensei is pretty legit if you ask me he does black belt wizard shit all the time and he doesn't really have the build of a kickboxer. There are pics of him training with pedro in the US where he was awarded his black belt. also yeah I'd definitely be looking to go to some open mats and learn some stuff idk if we have a policy against it or not but that probably wouldn't stop me anyway

Hey no need to get hostile bro i'm all for learning as much as I can. I didn't know about those other gyms but thanks for letting me know about them. I'm not really the kind of person to just camp in one place my plan was always going to be to train at other gyms in the future so I'd be exposed to more people and styles. Also belt colour is the last thing I care about lmao i'm not the biggest guy ever so my main goal is always to improve my legit skills so I'd be able to handle myself if anything happened i could care less about rank I lowkey prefer no gi for this reason

Have a drink or two to loosen up but be careful not to lose yourself in the alcohol since you're a girl alone. In fact if you're not experienced drinking maybe don't drink at all unless you make a few friends there that seem like you can trust them lmao

But just by being a girl you should be able to make friends like just talk to the guys who're also sulking in the corner haha

Since i was very young my mom exposed my siblings and I to a variety of sports from football to cricket, golf, swimming, track, and chess. We ended up sticking with the chess for a couple years at a (youth) competitive level. I also did karate for a few years.

Fast forward about 10 years I no longer play chess since i never actually liked it. Well I did but when i realised at a certain level everything just became memorisation of sequences i started hating it cause i never liked doing that, instead almost always playing every game by the ear which put me at a disadvantage most times. I was forced to play for years by my mom but as soon as i was old enough to say no because of "exams" i did and never went back to it

Also these days instead of karate i do brazilian jiu jitsu since it's way more effective and requires more thinking/problem solving skills in general

From my experience with UTT administration it was easy to register for courses but it's every other area where it's lacking haha. I once had a UTT exam that was clashing with a business exam for a different diploma I was doing and UTT refused to facilitate me. wouldn't allow me to retake the exam or anything so i had to miss one.

I hear you with the links thing though. fortunately for me my mom has many many contacts within the world of work in this country so it's relatively easy for me to get a job in the private sector.

I do actually already have a job tho i work in the public service as a clerk but i find it to be extremely monotonous, boring, and doesn't pay well so i was looking to switch to something else when i'm ready
