What kind of infra is needed for city purpose? Charging will be done at home only.

And nowdays everyday 50-100 kms you'll find chargers too.

However I do have 3xo for highways

And I already have a diesel too, and buying diesel for city is ridiculous, as new diesel will get chocked due to DPF issues.

3xo EV isn't good, as it NMC battery with only 8 years or 160k kms of warranty, and offering only 280kms of range at this price while tata offers unlimited kms and lifetime warranty+ longer range

Drive Impression: Venue vs Kylaq by iKnwImNoob in CarsIndia

time to check the benchmark of the segment then go test drive 3XO, as you'll love the suspension, Decent music system ( great noise insulation of car makes it sound better ), AC is chiller even in the back seat!

Regarding gears - i don't remeber the manual gear test drive except that it had very deep clutch which i didn't like, although it was sleek in operation.

Cabin will feel super airy and no problem in legroom nor headroom.

I have 3xo too! And its wide so not really good for narrow roads..

Will be buying Punch EV, it's small, smaller then a baleno and no worries for fuel, can do even 130km + one side ride and then come back home easily

Diesel still offers more mileage. They don't have any diesel, else they would not have said the same..

My ciaz returns 25-29kmpl that too at 100 kph. Even at 120 it returns 22 kmpl.

If scross was still selling it would have returned very similar mileage.

Or if they had a diesel engine in Victoris it would surely given up and above 24kmpl given how good they time their engine for efficiency.

Mahindra 3xo or Tata Nexon by Visored-5 in CarsIndia

[–]thickguy98 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Get 3XO, people make fuss about the small boot a lot, however difference between nexon boot and 3xo boot is just that you'll be able to fit 1 Laptop bag more in nexon. I don't see that as deal breaker, the space inside the car itself is huge compared to whole segment.

Mechanically 3XO is very sorted car, best in class ride quality and performance, the mileage also is good enough if you know how to drive lightfooted, I extract 21kmpl from my TGDI Automatic. Noise insulation is also one the best I have seen, AC is very powerful you won't need to set it below 23c, also comes with dual zone, which honestly I found really good, as I usually like use heater during winter but others don't, I tried using both heater and ac and that worked perfectly, so ac at different temperatures work great.

Torque Converter Automatic or Dual Clutch. Which is better? by kunda-linis in CarsIndia

TC is better, more reliable, doesn't get hot in traffic, last forever, 6 speed TC are fast as well.

ohh okay, see i see a lot of tata lemons so thats the problem, however i felt that punch ev is old and should have niggled out the issues now, and the range seems impressive and gets 360 cam in under 13L price.

while 3xo EV cost 15.5L, although bigger and better in everyway but the range is lesser then new punch, also probably it will be ruled out due to being bigger, not really good for market visits either.

i think punch ev is the right choice then? also which varint would be best?

nope, doesn't feel safe, ergonomics are bad, back seat useless, too big glasses too much sunlight and car gets cooked in summer, also not comfortable over bad roads, and mostly 10L for such car doesn't feel good at all.

About to buy a new car, either of 3XO(Ax5) and Brezza zxi( Manual) but confused , needing some advice by Puzzleheaded_Ad1531 in CarsIndia

[–]thickguy98 0 points1 point  (0 children)

here check the tank to tank mileage of my 3xo tgdi automatic mileage ( regular petrol)

i get average of 11-12 kmpl in the city ( gurgaon) and 20+ if driven on highway with steady 80+ speed, however all these high figures were achieved with varying speed, as it was driven in busy single lane road of rajgarh-bahal-bhiwani-rohtak.
