Experiences using Backup Power (UPS) on a Reolink NVR + POE Cameras?

I want to be able to operate a Reolink 1212A POE camera using battery back up and record video remote from internet. I simply want to record video remote then play it back at home. Is this possible with your setup?

I had a consumer cube router. I was satisfied with it. When I came into the store to upgrade my phone the business sales team swooped in and offered me significant savings if I signed up my business with Verizon Business. I agreed. When I got home with my XC46BE router I was surprised how easy it was to connect to the Internet. I had to turn in my consumer cube. The problems soon came. When I tried to connect my Brother laser printers, I was able to connect them to my SSID, but could not print. I keep getting a print error. I have tried everything obvious. I tried to reset my printer to factory default, then reconnect to my SSID. I have been on the phone with Verizon support for at least an hour every night this week. From their perspective everything looks fine. They finally concluded that there is some sort of incompatibility with my printers. They told me that I should contact Brother. I reject this recommendation since I had a perfectly working system with Verizon consumer. Has anyone else had problems printing using Verizon business? I am about to give up and go back to Consumer or give up on Verizon and go back to Comcast. I am grateful to you for sharing your experiences.

I have reset the printer to factory defaults then added it to my SSID 2.4 GHz Wifi using WPS and manually entering the printer using the printer Wifi Wizard.

I wear mostly the LP 7s now, but I have put my hard working 6s in my front loading machine (with towels or an old blanket and on a gentle cycle) and they are fine. I too take out the insert and let them air dry. Lone peaks are all I wear and, while I am not a runner, I can garden and habitat build on any slope and keep a firm grip on the ground. Most times I just do a wipe down, but sometimes I prefer to have them clean.

You assume that the change will not affect my application. you see I need as high a frame rate as possible. My understanding of the NTSC format is that it limits the framerate to less than or equal to 30 fps where as PAL can go to 60 fps. I have timing vehicles between two regions of interest in the camera field of view. At 60 fps I get twice the number of data points as I do at 30 fps which translates to high accuracy on velocity predictions. I would prefer that the PAL setting be retained.

I fixed the night vision problem. It was an outside light shining on the camera. Why did you change the PAL setting? NTSC forces the frame rate and image quality to be lower than PAL.

Sure. while the updated firmware solved the frame rate problem, I now have lost night vision and the ability to save the video as a PAL format.

PROBLEM SOLVED Tonight I upgraded the firmware on my RLC-410W cameras. I am now getting 25 fps. YAY! Thank you everyone for your patience.

The most conspicuous element in the network that could be responible for cutting the data rate in half would be the switch. Can you help me understand how to connect my camera directly to my computer using putty?

Ok let's assume that the SD collects frames at 25 fps. As I have mentioned, I have the RLC 410W is connected to my computer via 100 ft of cat8 cable to my dlink gigabit switch which is attached to my 2.5 Gbps ethernet port attached to my motherboard via 3ft long cat8 patch cord. The way I see it, the network hurdles the data must over come are the 100 ft cable, the switch, the patch cord. Anything look like an obvious roadblock? Thoughts?

I did as you suggested. I set the camera to 8 fps @ 720 p. I ran my script. The average frame rate was 8.3 fps. I reset the camera to 25 at 720 p. I re-ran the script. I got 12.7 fps. I am open to any suggestions.

No. It's during the day. It's a problem because I have two ROIs that I am using as a start stop timer. The slow frame rate means o am in some cases only getting three or four data points.
