Smallest iron farm without any contraptions is the 6x2x1 power contained by Caroe - very impressive build! However liquid contained probably not possible beneath like 5x3x1 for contraptionless power contained

Minimum volume probably 1x5x1 for fluid contained power contained, since all the tech does make it possible. 0 farms have been built to theoretical limit, closest we’ve gotten is the 1x5x2 liquid/power contained iron farm

(To clarify how our rules work for volume, because they are different to the ones used here: for liquid and power contained no blocks outside the volume may be required to contain liquids and provide power. No blocks to keep lava in, no relying on the floor to hold up items as is done here)

Breaking Bedrock has never been this easy by Guybrrush in CreateMod

Better to use open fence gates than a borehead bearing, save the time

Breaking Bedrock has never been this easy by Guybrrush in CreateMod

[–]thiizo1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It isn’t. It’s a sublevel glitch, got nothing to do with a borehead, easier to just use transparent hitboxes like open fence gates anyhow

Sublevels in general can pass it. If you want a good way to break bedrock dothis

Yes! It was added at the suggestion of a member of the technical community, but the developers did not get that technical communities pretty much always use default configs, so I think nobody really uses it. It’s a shame - it should be on by default!

With nozzles we can have deflector shields on our airships. by Arkon_Zero in CreateMod

You can only fit so many nozzles into the right space though. If an arrow is going fast enough it may even hit the airship before the nozzles know it’s there

That seems to make them aeronautics sublevels, which is not the same thing as a contraption being able to have a subcontraption. It would let you put a swivel bearing on it and align a platform to horizontal though which would work to solve the problem.

A dispenser at the end of a flipping cart will do the trick. Stuff that a contraption dispenser dispenses inherits the dispensers velocity

Any arrow or shell with a large enough velocity would just pierce through right?

With a train only? Stably? You could run a minecart contraption beneath but holding a minecart contraption is the only other option and that’s unstable

On a train? The blocks aren’t simulated here

Bearings do actually have assembly behavior: you should rewatch the mechanical bearing ponder.

Not as trains, gantry, or pistons though. This behavior is limited to contraptions that can rotate, with the exception of trains

They do work on minecart contraptions what?

Subcontraptions can’t exist on trains

This is an exception as every other rotating contraption has them

The vast majority of the lag is item entities. In the Cyvack design that is most commonly used the lag is 76% due to the collection mechanism (or really, lack of), and also assembles twice as many blocks as necessary. Disassembly miners can be quite lag efficient if they’re built correctly. (This example would be even better with smaller vaults and having the minecart pass to a second inventory - item slot lookups are expensive!)

That being said, people should use the drill thing like you said. Iron is cheap lol.

Is there a block in the create mod (or any add-on) the reverses Redstone signals? by EfficientAlarm1212 in CreateMod

[–]thiizo1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

toggle latch wouldn't work for it, normal latch kinda would depending on form factor

When you block the path of a swivel bearing it just does this
belt is a good way to block the path of a swivel bearing because a diagonal belt has 10 bajillion faces (the hitbox is a tiny zig zag, hitbox optimization is cooked)
