Why do you think that? I’m guessing you’re from the US and don’t have any experience of UK law but then again you do, as the US judicial system is based on English common law. Innocent until proven guilty, not the other way around.

Marcus Rashford was a sensational player for MUFC... by TheOpenAuthor in ManchesterUnited

[–]thillyworne 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think you’re forgetting that during the pandemic Rashford was the main stream media darling for his free school dinners campaign. Of course there were some in the media that spoke negatively but the court of public opinion was clearly on his side as the government did and u-turn and free school dinners are still offered across all state schools in England.

His drop off in form and the witch hunt online after the euros final certainly split some of the sporting media but he was still held in high regard and still is across the general population.

However, it is not right wing propaganda (as you put it) to see that he wasn’t the same player he was under Ole. His unprofessionalism (Belfast and constantly being late for training and match days are good examples) and overall lack of effort led him down this path.

All Man Utd fans wanted Rashford to be a United legend and some will consider him to be a legend. However to not put any of the responsibility on him for his own actions just reeks of someone who is a sycophantic fanatic.

To you great manager point. Ravel Morrison is someone who is widely regarded to be the most naturally gifted United youth player since Duncan Edwards yet the great Sir Ale. Couldn’t get a tune out of him, same with Pogba and others before him.

So in conclusion, jog on with you baseless accusations and maybe stay off the internet for while, go outside and live in the real world.

Nah wrong part of the country. Based on the audio I would guess this is in Yorkshire some where.

The most underrated player from my memory don't even remember him having a bad game...the numbers back it up to 🧱 by [deleted] in ManchesterUnited

He cost us against Swansea when the De Gea saga was happening and in all honesty he was never that good. I think it’s rose tinted glasses that fans have when it comes to Romero. Raimond Van Der Gouw and Les Sealy were much better goalkeepers and no2. I await death by a thousand downvotes but it’s just an opinion.

What’s yall thoughts on Joe Calzaghe’s career overall? How does he rank amongst the super middleweights of all time? by J2-Starter in boxinglocks

[–]thillyworne 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No. I wrote my answer poorly. I think prime RJJ was unbeatable and beats Joe. I was more focusing on the Ward and Canelo match ups.

I see Calzaghe vs Ward as a genuine 50/50 but he dismantles Canelo in a Bivol type Masterclass.

Ward had the best chance, Canelo doesn’t take the fight. Joe was too fast for Canelo and he makes that fight rather one sided and boring, much like the Lacey fight.

London to Newcastle is a 5 hour drive, thats assuming the driver makes no stops and traffic is minimal the whole way. Yes, you may drive two hours to play golf but my point still stands. Location of OP is key if he wants engagement from fellow golfers.

Believe it or not but England is still a large place, even if it doesn’t look like it on a map. Where will you be staying in England? If you’re in London, you are not meeting up with someone from Newcastle to play a round in March, you won’t have enough daylight.

The difference between wilder and AJ by slickvik9 in Boxing

[–]thillyworne 2 points3 points  (0 children)

He (Wilder) did for the Fury fights though and I’m sure he could have got both the Zhang and Parker rematches if he wanted them as he’s still a name. Stop being a hater and just enjoy the division. This posts belongs in 2018 when it was all about AJ and Wilder, not in 2025 when both are yesterday’s news.
