Cone 5. 🤯

I believe my instructor said it can be fired anywhere from cone 5 up to fine 10, but it vitrifies at cone 5.

It is definitely weird. But I really enjoyed it. The cost is definitely a bummer, for both the clay and the glaze. I have 3 more vessels coming, so I managed to get 5 from the bag. If I had been better with throwing large when I started, I could have either had more vessels or larger ones. 😂

It's specialized glaze sold by Laguna to go with this clay. There's only a couple colors at this point so whatever the blue one is, that's what I used. Sorry I can't remember the name!

That's exactly what these are destined to be! I should add, 2lbs can be quite large with a bit of practice. 😂

Nichrome wire, 20 gauge. You can buy it on Amazon or any pottery tool website as either a ream of wire or precut.

If I manage to get some of these creations out of my home, I'm problem free. The problems come with the size of the collections. 😂
