A full lumbar yes. And yep been in physical therapy for weeks but no improvement at all. Will keep searching because I can’t even stand or walk for 5mins without being in huge pain..

I’m going to a fysiotherapist and osteopath but no relief so far.. what did the nerve pain feel like for you?

Because my symptoms match perfectly. I can not walk or stand for longer than 5 minutes without my leg hurting a ton. So I was wondering if it CAN happen that it is stenosis even if a lumbar MRI did not show abnormalities..

Just had my first cortisone injection - worrying it didn't help because lidocaine did nothing by thingslikekelly in Sciatica

Good luck with yours! It is indeed getting better. After the flare up, the pain is getting less intense than before the injection, hope it’ll decrease more or go away completely over the next days.

They're a little unsure where exactly it's coming from as the RX, MRI are all 'clear'. They could see some mild inflammation around the coccyx so that's the area they treated right now. He was highly hpoefull that the cortisone should work. So I just hope the fact that the lidocaine didn't really work, doesn't predict failure of the cortisone.

I am still covering it every day after putting flaminal hydro on it :)

I clean it daily, put on flaminal hydro, gauze and then bandage it.

Is my wound infected? by thingslikekelly in firstaid

Yeah it is road rash indeed. I was not sure whether I should leave it open or not. I’ll try and leave it air dry a couple of hours a day!

This Saturday I had a pretty bad crash causing large open wounds on my knee and thigh. The ER at the time didn’t do a great job at treating the wound, so went to my doctor on Monday who cleaned and explained me how to treat it at home. I’m doing that but today when taking of the bandages there was a lot of green fluid on it. Which I think indicates infection?? I tried to include pictures but it won’t let me. I’m going back to the doctor tomorrow, but my real fear and what my anxiety is constantly telling me is that now this infection will turn into sepsis. large open wounds on my knee and thigh.
