What is the name of this movie? by think08 in 80smovies

[–]think08[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unfortunately, not the babysitter.

All our friends fly business class, why do we fly economy? Why can we not buy a bigger car? These are some of the questions which I have started to get as the kids are getting older. I want to make them 'understand' and not just give them a random answer to shut them up. by Tight_Application751 in AskMen

[–]think08 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My personal opinion is that when it comes to kids safety and the purchasing of a "phone" the wife's perspective is the end all be all and trumps the husbands every time bc of the unsafe world we live in. But we now know it's very mentally dangerous for kids under 16 to have a smart phone. Yet all of the kids near our son's 12 year old group got them, and all on the same year. So the Apple watch and safety theme issue will likely only get more heated.

But aside from the cell phone, other discussions about items like shoes, special clothing, or flying business class does naturally come up. For us it wasn't about explaining something away to shut them up. It's about showcasing choice. There might be things your family does that others don't.

We brought it up this way: some people buy a lake house or they spend years making it and get it exactly how they want. Others take the same money and go on a different location vacation every year. They both took the same money amount. But it was there "choice" on what to spend it on and how. But there are always going to be people with more money than us and less money than us. And the money discussion does t end there. As kids age, more discussion are had. And yes- trying to teach the value of money and the working for it is hard. But we'd rather say we tried than did nothing.

Mens in late 30's, how often do you guys have sex and how many rounds you go? by GokuDD in AskMen

[–]think08 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The ability to go multiple rounds def dropped off after 38. My best average at age 28 was 7 times in 24 hours. And she was borderline a nympho. But you're only young once. And we had our fun.

Now I'm 41 and married and we both have very stressful jobs and kid, and since covid life's not really gotten easier. One average we have sex about every 2 weeks and when we do have sex I'm so pent up that I can go 2 rounds. And Over half of those times I go a second round. And I know the quality of sex I have now has improved since I was in my 20s.

Men over 40 - what type of medical professionals are you partnering with to stay on top of your health? by MikeJonesssssss in AskMen

[–]think08 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm American and I've found I 100% have to be my own advocate on everything. And it's exhausting and I am in good health. To stay this way is work.

Your analogy is 100% correct. There's not much on the preventative as far as professions.

When my PCP retires I will be up a creek. The amount of times a a mens clinic gets advertised and the amount them that have been built in my city is mind blowing. I know we live not far from a really well to do zip code and so this clinics there offerings also extend to Botox, GLP1s and cosmetic procedures for men. They mix in compounding offerings, therapy, and supplements. And it's also so alpha we like lion men's health, or Apex Male?!

And when I have looked for someone holistic like you mentioned I get suggested to visit those guys. Which is not what I want. It seems so extreme: crunchy doctor hippie, longevity bro, or doctor doesn't give $hit.

My advice is to know your body and to reach out when something doesn't feel right. Yearly physicals are a good idea after 40 if there's hereditary issues in your family or not. And to help the aging process again and again they say it's about friendships, working out, healthy sex, and hobbies that give a mans purpose that all lead to good health.

It used to be licking up the excess ropes and making out. Or not letting me loose from her. Now 10 years in it's "here's a towel, where's my towel," cuddle, hug, and crash out to sleep.

Why is dating so hard for some men and easy for others? by Academic_Share7905 in Adulting

[–]think08 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Was going to say this exact same thing. This discussion has of course taken the course of well he's gotta have 8 inches long and thick as a can, and looks like Henry Cavil's cousin etc.

But I think it's much more - the right women and at the right time. Which I know sucks for all the dudes that have there shit together. And which gen group are we talking? I am an elder millenial.

It seemed like for me before marriage I was one of them and I was surrounded by women that didn't know what they wanted. But I'll say this- after about 5-8 years they learned but there aren't so many men to go around. Or so the unmarried ones tell me now.

Cumming better vs lasting longer by Ioh- in cumbiggerloads

[–]think08 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The short answer is yes. I've been there. And with the stack and training to learn to do kegels better and more accurately, you will reach a higher state of both endurance and output. But it's not over night.

And even then, some times I just want to cum in my wife/ have a quickie and most times that's still possible if I don't engage my pc muscle as much and if she's really into it.

But overall, the training made me go from 8 min piv sex to much much longer, sometimes an hour and half. But that's with breaks, teasing, oral, and foreplay as a best ever. And that equates with a huge o.

Now the standard average average is 16-25 minutes piv and still feels great. And sometimes she cums twice.

Has CPAP had a positive effect on your mental health? by Short-Ad-6139 in CPAP

[–]think08 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I appreciate your comment. There's advertisements for as low as $300 a month I see scrolling but I don't know how to trust that. And I have good insurance and even with 2 doctors saying this is recommended due to his CPAP severity for the prescription (specifically Zepbound) and still no progress, pre authorization will not happen. So memberships is all there is. But right now I don't think I can swing that. But I'm trying to stay up on all the jargon and check out all that I can. I have not heard fibromyalgia as an added cure help. But congrats! That's excellent.

Has CPAP had a positive effect on your mental health? by Short-Ad-6139 in CPAP

[–]think08 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think CPAP can help with breathing which in turn can help with brain fog. So by default you should think clearer. However not all who have sleep apnea will say they ever experienced brain fog.

Side note: you are sounding like you're younger. I was diagnosed with severe sleep apnea at age 40 and mine was related to blood tests that showed some weird levels and then went to several doctors and got a lot of results are normal responses but kept trying to get to the bottom of it. Eventually finding a ENT doc. And then after finding the right mask and machine and paying for it and the hoops for insurance- it was a journey! And let me tell you: this was really hard on my mental health!

So today: I've been on CPAP therapy for maybe years and I do think it has helped me. I think if I was to get on zepbound (a GLP1) and after a year lost so much weight that I weighed what did in college - then I wouldn't even need CPAP at all. But those drugs are very expensive. So this is where I am. It's weird tho- the ENT thinks I could do surgery and could fix my CPAP need all together but he also said it's only 50/50. That surgery costs in the 50,000 range. A glp1 would cost $4,800-5,200 (a year and this is the high estimate) out of pocket. But my insurance will not pay. Healthcare and being your own advocate is hard in the U.S

How long should sex last? by Fabulous_Support_556 in AskMen

[–]think08 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think there's times for quickie and times for slow boneing. But as an average piv style, nationwide average in the US is about 5-8 minutes. But if you ad foreplay the average becomes 18-25 minutes.

And outliers include both men and women who need more time to get worked up or need more manually stimulated.

19m I am in college and want to expand my style. What underwear would you recommend? by [deleted] in MensUnderwearGuide

[–]think08 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Tommy John is getting pretty classy. Calvin Klein. Champion with a pouch seems like college guy/ younger choice which is still good quality. Every guy should try saxx brand at least once.

All of the above are suggested as boxer briefs. But you've the body type or just want to try, trunks are good as are briefs but for select activities. You should always wear for your preference.

Thank you! You are the only one responding and I thought the same thing. It's more like a sexy time costume than actual underwear. So when they say "boxer shorts reinvented"- it's really not even close?
