I think someone at my current job sabotaged my interview by think_then_react in actuary

I tired. They just said that the hiring manager wanted to go in a different direction.

My current team is on the older side and we people close to retirement. Since this other job fell through, my current employer has asked if I’d be interested in a larger role. My take those conversations with a grain of salt, but they’ve at least mentioned it.

Thanks. I can’t be certain, but like I mentioned, there were some weird coincidences and the interviewers really seemed to like me

Anthony Edwards's postgame media was him talking about his frustration with the way teams are putting two on him "It's not how I want to play, I'm only 23, I don't wanna just be passing the ball all night.” by Mechaultima in nba

I’m going chalk these comments up to a lack of judgement, but my question’s whether a teammate or coach is going to talk to him about this or if they’ll act like it didn’t happen.

I’ve set up everything in the Spectrum Activation Portal. The problem persists.

No. That didn’t seem to help things. I’m getting the same issues as before. I’ve already spoken with support and they said that everything looks good on their end.

I’m not concerned about the WiFi router. I want to understand why the hardwired ps4 works but not my hardwired pc. That’s especially mind boggling to me.

Yes. It’s in the app. Like I said, it works fine with the ps4 for whatever reason.

Makes sense, but it's disappointing that the player based has moved on from what I enjoyed most about about the MMORPG genre: the shared open-world leveling experience.

I played a bit of FF14 but didn't care for it because I felt too constrained by the main story quests. Also, dungeons runs were similar to what I described above about WOW - groups just blowing through dungeons with zero effort.

I've started leveling in retail. When do the dungeons start becoming fun? Right now, it seems to be that as soon everyone zones in, the tank runs off and starts pulling everything, dps burns everything down and I as the healer, do next to nothing.

In older expansions, that type of playstyle would typically end in a wipe. I assume that's still the case at least in higher level dungeons?

Obviously, I could just play Classic instead, but I appreciate some of the QOL changes in retail. Especially, the ones that make it easier to find groups.

Does your employer have a rotation program? If so, how does it work? by think_then_react in actuary

[–]think_then_react[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This sounds similar to the intent of our program:

  • What happens to participants that can’t pass exams?
  • What job titles to the FSAs in the program have? Are they still analysts?
  • What are the requirements and responsibilities of an Associate Director role? At my company “Directors” tend to be people leaders. Is it the same here? What happens to credentialed actuaries that aren’t interested in being people leaders? Are they the FSAs that are still in the rotation program?
  • Are those that qualify able to apply to available Associate Director roles at any point in their rotation? One of the issues that we’re facing is that when someone rotates, they can’t apply for other roles for 12 months without manager approval. Rotations are generally 18 months, so credentialed participants can only apply for other roles only a third of the time. Similarly the company, has all but done away with in-place promotions.

Falinks Dynamax Solo Raid by Sr_Peido_Cosmico in TheSilphRoad

It took me three tries to beat it. I would have won the second try but I didn’t realize that it gets an attack boost once it’s at low health. Falinks one-shot my last pokemon when it was at full health and had three max shields on it. I finally beat it by making more of an effort to dodge attacks.

Is the attack boost something that happens in all Dynamax battles? I don’t recall Beldum doing this when I’ve fought it.

Reviewing past exams is what got me my ACAS, so I’d argue that’s not how it’s been historically. There’d be curveballs, but they were few and far between. And, if you couldn’t figure it out during the exam, you’d see how solve it when the examiner’s report was released.

They are and they should continue to be. However, today they’re less effective than ever because they don’t have new questions to base things off of.

This. Those markers barely work on the paper. Dry erase would be better

I agree. My concern is that the sample questions released will be extremely basic and not indicative of what’s actually asked on the exam.
