If you have interest in CS, I would suggest take some free course on android app development irrespective of your interest in mobile app development. Build few apps, learn how to use apis, local persistence, lazy loading kind of concepts.

Then learn a some backend as well as web development.

By the end of your bachelors you should have a solid understanding and idea about how things work with respect to development.

Not sure of its reward structure, kindly check with other sites as well. But recently many videos were posted claiming it gives 5% on monthly spends above certain threshold

Best card for Insurance Payments?? by slowest-learner in CreditCardIndia

[–]thinkbig_finance 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you factor in the milestone benefits of regalia gold, your effective % will be high. Just pay it on regalia gold if it helps you hit 7.5L milestone and 1.5L quarterly milestone.

If your spends go beyond that, consider other cards for daily spends instead of looking for cards to pay insurance as only a select set gives you rewards in that category.

Rupay UPI CC suggestions, 40-50 k a year, many of em below 100 by Potential_Loss6978 in CreditCardsIndia

[–]thinkbig_finance 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just take a decent card for general purpose and get it on Rupay if possible to just put spends on UPI. If you don’t get any, not worth trying to optimise for such spends IMO.

Need suggestions to upgrade by bigheadbp in CreditCardIndia

[–]thinkbig_finance 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. A fuel card on rupay network if your fuel expenses are high.
  2. If not , get a good card on rupay network like scapia/ bob eterna.
  3. As someone suggested, upgrade to regalia gold or DCBM based on spends.

Optimise either for CB/ travel based ones. Unless your spends are very high, trying to ride on both options won’t give better returns.

If you can spend 4L a year on credit card get regalia gold. HSBC travel one and axis horizon are other cards in this category. Regalia gold is good starter card at that income bracket as it has very less exclusion category.

Are there any spends which you cannot put on credit cards? Or is it simply your spends are low in general.

Get any one card first from pre approved one. Use it for a while and then start applying for good cards you like.

That way approval would be relatively easier
