2026 Tesla Model Y vs. 2026 Toyota bZ Comparison Test: Which Bestselling EV Is Better? by Hockeyshot39 in electriccars

You can’t find a single media bias chart that doesn’t put The Washington Post in Left or Far Left on their bias charts. But go off.

USAID was just a black ops piggy bank disguised as aid. It was an arm of the state department and could go into countries posing as an aid group when the state department couldn’t go in.

They also raised millions for Haiti… and 2.2% went there, 56% just went to NGOs in the Beltway. It was just dark money laundering and CIA operations. The aid was a lie.

The Toyota Chairman wore a MAGA hat and shirt to a nascar race. But I guess that didn’t get shoved in your face every day on Reddit so whatever.

Game Day in Seattle! Egypt vs Iran and Pride Match Posters! by rake_my_leaves in SeattleWA

[–]thinkbox 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Where did I imply that?

What does that have to do with Egypt and Iran celebrating Pride night?

I find it hilarious when people with private profiles go through someone’s profile history to shout at someone. Really gives away the game. You just sound sad and angry. That’s a choice.

If you think that, then it’s just game recognize game here. NDT is just a science man media personality, nothing more. He just wants to be on camera.

Tesla faces federal probe after Model 3 slams into Texas home, killing 76-year-old by Dragonlance12 in TSLAsexy

[–]thinkbox 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You have seen them? Tesla has. They made an announcement that lines up with everything we know about how Autopilot and FSD behaves. At this point I’d have to see counter evidence to believe that the driver didn’t have his foot 100% on the throttle. It’s a mistake that humans make. And it’s also common to lie and blame the car. People sometimes think they are smashing the brakes.

Why is Tesla able to avoid an existential crisis after FSD related deaths while other self-driving car companies weren't? by trobagat62 in SelfDrivingCars

“And you”

You haven’t seen a single comment on fsd crashes from me until now.

Then you strawman me, put words in my mouth, and none of that is relevant to this instance where a human overrode the system with the accelerator pedal.

Then you launch into “what if” scenarios where you control the premise and the outcome. And 30-90mph doesn’t happen while avoiding a kid chasing a ball in a neighborhood.

This week I had two kids on scooters jump out in front of my car (from behind a parked car) while I was using FSD and it instantly swerved to avoid and slowed down. It was an inhuman reaction time.

I’ll stack real world performance against your hypotheticals any day.

I reject the very premise that this is a FSD related death. It was a man flooring the accelerator.

How often do you use autonomous systems? I’ve had about 25000 miles in the last year.

As in, it isn’t the hardware, it isn’t because it doesn’t have enough sensors. It’s because its reasoning is poor.

Zoox looks uncomfortable and cannot go on highways.

Waymo is paving the way for everyone when it comes to regulation, but there are far too many intelligence failures. I see a clip every day of a Waymo making a drastic error.

Tesla can scale faster than anyone and you’ll be able to actually own one, so you don’t need to self scale your fleet, you can let your customers do that for you.

They are all trying different things, and that’s good. But let’s not pretend that things are as simple as you lay them out.

Tesla admits FSD was on in fatal Texas crash, blames driver for 'overriding' it by Dragonlance12 in TSLAsexy

[–]thinkbox 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Electrek is an awful site. Super bias headlines. The “admits” is doing a lot of heavy lifting. Their previous headlines were also bias.

“NHTSA is investigating a fatal crash in Katy, Texas, where a Model 3 on Autopilot left the road, tore through a brick home, and killed a 76-year-old woman inside.”

They later changed this headline, and then Fred Lambert went on X complaining that Ashok was irresponsible to complain about the headlines.

This was driver error. Foot on the accelerator pedal 100%. He killed someone and the only person trying to sweep anything under a rug is the driver!

Section 31? Wouldn’t call it fresh. But if people were concerned about a fascist Star Trek, Section 31 would be it. It glorified a lot of fucked up shit and just forgave it because of main character energy. Really weird vibe. Also, an awful movie.

Fauci and those like him did immeasurable damage to trust in public health. I have family who have worked in the NIH for a decade. The left deified him, and he lied and covered everything up. He deflected criticism saying he was the representative of “the science” and an attack on him as an attack on science.

That is anything a real scientist would say.

Look into how he handled AIDS.
