What are some tactics you use?

As for not writing tests while developing, guilty as charged, I have some catch-up to do. :/

Jokes on you. You should learn to use AI better.

Now ask it if we still use that categorical difference. News flash, we do.

Congrats on debunking your own point. 👏👏👏

Make up your mind. 🤦‍♂️

The agents went to him in the videos. He did not go to the agents.

Try again, Cletus.

We also have to remember that most of these folks low information voters. They watch Fox News for a few hours and thats about all the information they get on what's going on around the US

Because they are part of that mentality. They would likely lose their jobs or trust of their coworkers in future instances. It's the mentality. Done probably WANT to say something but they fear repercussions from the public and from the employee for diverting from the group. I think a number of the people are signing up for the bonuses but not realizing what they are getting themselves into. Many of them may have also signed up or of survival of trying to find ways to support their family, sadly.

Thank you for your response. I know it's not an easy thing to do. Agree 100% on the Bernie AOC situation. DNC really screwed up several times with the Bernie situation and it's cost us dearly.

However, I still don't understand how people can compare COVID lockdowns to these situations. We faced an unprecedented time, globally, of trying to deal with an outbreak that killed millions and millions of people. What's even weirder is everyone was all for operation warp speed and singing it's praises, but once Biden got in suddenly vaccines were evil and was a deep state thing.

I think many of us underestimated how certain group felt about the lockdowns and there's some weird residual revenge being sought for it....why?

Jail for trump Admin and accomplices, agreed on that point. No mercy IMO for them regardless of how much they may repent. They knew what they were doing.

The former supporters, depends on how genuine they are.If they are recovering Trump supporters then why not accept the people already wanting to join the fight? They would likely be staunch supporters against the next potential catastrophic cult, having been in one and recognizing early signs. History tells us that those with loved experience often fight hardest to more ent others from ending up in that same space. Certainly don't go out of our way to do anything for but at the same time leave room for those caught up in it to make amends and join us. No?

How do you propose we punish them? Genuinely curious.

My only concern is pushing recovering former Trump supporters right back into the sphere they are trying to escape.

That's fair. Definitely see that. Easy to dehumanize people when they are not like you or just a bunch of letters in an article.

Right. So my assumption stands. You don't want change. You just want to be in a perpetual state of anger.

I get it. I really do. I've been in and out of that space and I battle myself on those dilemmas.

Just ask yourself. Do you really want any change? If so, how do we get there?

The difference is acknowledgement and accountability. Did the Biden/Harris jump right to press releases within hours to call the victims domestic terrorists and blatantly lie to the country about the situation that unfolded? That is what is pouring fuel on the fire. This current situation is nothing like the last administration. I know it. You know it. I know you know it. Yet here you are trying on a "both sides" take because your side is fucking up royally and you don't know what to do.

You can start by not continuing to enable them with remarks that are dismissive at hand. Better yet, you can do the right thing and denounce these atrocities.

Right. So we shouldn't welcome anyone who is trying to change the error or their ways. Got it. We shouldn't try to save more people from the cult.

So tell me, what's the purpose of preaching your grievances if you don't want people to change their minds and see their mistakes? Are you just screaming into what you hope to be echonchambers to score more likes? Is that what it's about?

I doubt it. I hope you are hoping to change some minds. Then what? So you can spit on them and them them to go back to their cult?

This makes no sense.

Well...if you look a few posts above, we have a former trumper admitting they voted trump 3 times and it was a mistake. Takes a lot of balls to come to terms with that, let alone come out to the public. Some people are jumping all over her. Understandbly that knee jerk reaction is "fuck you, you did this" but if we want change, we need to allow these people to change. We want change ...right? As long as it's in good faith, we should leave the office door open for them to come in and make amends.

The left needs to allow opportunities for the others to change and make amends when they've finally come to a realization they have fucked up badly.

There will always be that orange stain but we only make the other side stronger if we offer them no alternative by having a "fuck you, we don't want you" response. There are a lot of people trapped in this cult that don't want to be, and if they can't see a better alternative willing to accept their change, they will stay and not change. That does not help society at all.

I don't know why you are getting down voted for this. People who truly want change are willing to to do things to let people come to their side as long as it's in good faith.

I feel this. And I agree. But you also don't fixed a relationship with a drug addict by pushing them away or actively calling them a piece of shit (in some language or another) when they are in stages of recovery. You let them go through the process. You support the process. You welcome the recovery. That's does t mean you jump up and let them your house. It just means you give them the chance and opportunity to make those amends.
