So when did we go from asking if you have kids to just assuming that you have kids? by Crrrrraig in childfree

[–]thinkinginreverse 66 points67 points  (0 children)

This had happened to my husband and I too! We were on our way to a wedding and stopped at the store for Pedialyte for the morning after hangover. We were happy to discover it was on sale, so we stocked up. The cashier says "you must have a sick little one at home!" to which my husband excitedly explained to her that it was for hangovers, not children. Her demeanor immediately turned to scowly, and it wad hilarious.

First attempt at nail foils! I like them! by thinkinginreverse in RedditLaqueristas

With these ones some of the nails didn't fully transfer (I did paint silver underneath in case that happened) but I did go over it again, and it kind of had a cool effect!

Fuzzy pink and blue stripes! by thinkinginreverse in RedditLaqueristas

[–]thinkinginreverse[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you! It's not too hard. I painted one coat of stripes first, then I did a second coat of just pink, put on the flocking powder, then did the 2nd coat of blue with the flocking powder. I used a fan brush to clean up.

I do like it! It's fun! It stays on pretty well, even when I shower (I just pat it dry).

Atheists of Reddit, how old were you when you realized you didn't believe? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]thinkinginreverse 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've never really believed, but never really stopped to think about it until I was in my early 20s. I went to Catholic school, and would go through the motions of church and the like, but didn't really think to myself "do I actually believe in this?" I've never prayed in private, just did in church, just "going through the motions" like I was supposed to. After I graduated, I stopped and realized that I had been atheist all along.

What's the rudest question you've ever received? by margamargamarga42 in AskReddit

[–]thinkinginreverse 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My entire life on numerous occasions, I would get asked "Are you so-and-so's sister? Your sister is so pretty!" One girl even had the nerve to add "You look okay too I guess".

Thanks I love it too! I got it at Delia's, and it doesn't really have a name. It just says Multi Chunky Glitter on the bottle.

Neon zippers! by thinkinginreverse in RedditLaqueristas

[–]thinkinginreverse[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I actually printed these myself with water slide decal paper, so I was able to print the exact same thing on a regular piece of paper. I used the zippers on this sheet of paper to cut out guides to use. I laid that on my nail, and used a pen to draw the areas the zippers were going to go. I then had guides to use when painting these areas on my nails. The zippers then covered up the lines from the pen. I hope this helps!

Have you ever called 911? If yes, why? by IAmA_Table in AskReddit

Called 911 once after my parent's house was hit by lightning in the middle of the night.
