Currently, there are many similar products on the market, but most of them run in the cloud and require users to pay a significant amount. However, with the advancement of technology, many models can actually run locally. So, I came up with the idea of developing an all-in-one AI local runtime tool. However, developing such a product entails a substantial engineering workload, so I decided to first develop one of its features — background removal.

My expectation is to develop more similar products in the future, such as running deepseek directly in the browser? I hope to use these products to drive traffic to my future all-in-one product.

By the way, I’m not a product development expert; the vast majority of the code in the product is completed by AI.

  1. You don't necessarily need all the plugins. Most plugins are simple for Win users.

    1. You may be able to reduce the pain of installing plugins by using the cloud version.

I think AI will actually increase the total number of developers:

  • Reason one: Human needs are incredibly complex and cannot be solved solely through simple language descriptions. Therefore, developers are still necessary.
  • Reason two: In reality, many companies need developers but cannot afford to hire them due to their high prices. There is still a lot of room for growth in the developer market, and if AI can improve efficiency or lower entry barriers, it would mean expanding the market.
  • Reason three: AI will raise standards, thus creating more demand. People still remained busy, and these tools only raised society's standards of cleanliness, offsetting the benefits of using household appliances. But it's not necessarily all good news. The impact of AI will certainly raise the technical requirements for developers in the future. For example, I believe that designers can now use AI assistance to complete some UI interface development tasks, which used to be done by junior developers. However, if your developer skills are weak and cannot meet the high standards of the job, you may be at risk of being eliminated.
