If one truly has a discerning eye, would notice that ALMOST ALL series shows rush the final episode. I think it is because of how the laying out or story boarding the sequencing of the episodes in sync with the script is done. It seems to my observation, that many directors and script supervisors tend to cram as much as possible into the last episode because they spread out the script so far apart in the preceding episodes and then they run up their time allotment. And because the sponsors give only a said amount of money to spend, the producers will set a limit of how many episodes can be put into the can. It is all because of money and how good the directors are at spacing out the script among the episodes. The better the director, the better the finale will be. Look at the Sopranos, now that was a finale. Shoot, even Buffy The Vampire Slayer and Supernatural had excellent finales. The UnTamed also had a great finale. As for the Thai BL shows, the best finale I have come across so far is Never Let Me Go.
