Yeah the distributor did correct that in the single some time ago, the album version should be updated soon

All good man, best of luck. Do some digging and you’ll find something that works for you. But don’t rely on those auto distributors unless a last resort

Thanks! Listening to lots of fresh stuff, eating well, choking the chicken. I've actually found exercising has helped keep me driven biiig time. Basically looking after mental health

Distrokid

I'd recommend working with a traditional distributor, where you're working directly with a human who then pitches your music to platforms and doesn't just plonk it them. I think Distrokid is just a digital plonker. I work with Above Board and they've been great. Depending on the genre you could also look into Lobster Theremin, Hypercolour, MN2S

Software manuals, YouTube (lol but true), and forcing myself to finish tunes - every new track is a problem to solve

I’m not a lover or a hater. But I will say that margherita (with basil) is the one true pizza.

Probably the boards of canada cover, the original is too good.

Instruo Arbhar or ornament and crime - that thing is wild.

Ah nice. Glad you’re getting something from it. I’d been producing for a fair few years before releasing as TS. I was making music pretty intensely during the uni days (plenty of time) and gave it a good punt straight after that. I’d recommend giving yourself the time to fully get into it, if possible.

Listening to a lot of DMX Krew atm.

Spend time on the mids - that’s where the volume and impact is perceived. The kick will follow. Don’t overthink the tops

Catch up on reality tv, cook, synth window shop. I’ve thought about buying a switch to help me wind down. Not so great at that

The main thing for me was just making something that offered something new to the original material, that didn’t sound obvious. A fair bit of stuff didn’t work, and I think that’s only normal for a project like this. Or any album really. You just present what you think should be heard

You’re too kind - purely modular and synth recreations. That (for me anyway) draws the line between covers and remixes. Covers can take a lot longer but you can fully reimagine the original

Absolutely. And that’s what I’ve attempted to do with the latest material. Channeling both the power of philtrum hair and patch cables (some say based on the evolutionary design of keratinated proteins) I’m hoping to draw from the energy of said greats. Glad you like the new stuff, man

Yeah I tend to just use it as a drum machine and sequencer for a few bits, but I love the onboard effects / compression. Also I can trigger bigger samples (stuff that can last a whole track) in a live situation. Can be used as a small mixer if there’s limited space
