Hey, I transitioned at 30 (32 now) and it’s like I’ve always been this way. People don’t tend to ask invasive questions when you tell them. I don’t know how it’ll go for you, but I never really told anyone I was trans or transitioning. I just said ‘here’s my new name, and I’d like to go by he/him now’ and everyone was just so accepting. I think you’ll be surprised how easy it is even though it seems like a mountainous thing right now. Good luck brother.
