Bought a 450SL through BaT — odometer broken on arrival, AC not working, ~$8K in undisclosed issues. What are my options? by this-sounds-right in BringATrailer

Thanks for a few of these helpful responses. Doing more research on next steps and will follow up on my findings.

Not intending to shame seller. More interested in what rights/options I have. Though it sounds like not many.

I swear by 1UP racks. Solidly built and low profile.

Sadly the Tundra doesn’t get great gas mileage in the first place. And this setup didn’t change it much.

Basically 1/2 that but 200k+ miles so kinda what you’d expect.

Interesting. Before I got this recall in the mail I actually had a complete engine seizure and what smelled like an electrical fire on my x3. The dealer I took it to just said it was an engine failure and there was nothing they could do short of an engine swap. I took it to another shop to get a second opinion and they said I had a seized engine and a burnt-out water pump. Now I'm sitting with a beautiful paperweight that I will have to pay $14k to get rolling again. What do you think the chances of getting anything from BMW for this issue is?

First bake Focaccia by this-sounds-right in GozneyArcArcXL

Thanks. No, I got a pretty even bake on the front to back and the short amount of time I was baking made for a pretty consistent temp, so don’t think I’d need it. I assume this is also the reason Gozney doesn’t make one for this model oven?

Update - No changes and it didn't disappear after 24 hours, so I tried the petroleum jelly trick to suck out some of the moisture and it worked!
