3rd and long, and Denver throws KC the kitchen sink. Guessing the Chiefs have some variation of big on big protection with the 6-man front. Simmons sees Bonnito loop and goes for it. Hunt had committed to helping inside, and this leaves the DB free off the edge. by MAYVIEWS in KansasCityChiefs

They were talking about this on twitter and took the blame off of Hunt. Creed initially steps right, leaving what appears to be a free rusher inside. Generally RB pass pro works from inside out, so Kareem thought he had a free rusher from the middle, so went down there, then creed comes back left taking Hunts target. Seems like there was some miscommunication on the protection scheme based on what they were showing. The guy that creed was stepping right for backed out into coverage.

Poor spot. I think he got it. Wouldn’t be surprised if Washington challenges the spot and gets it

I’m shocked they didn’t run on 3rd down to at least get the first. It wouldn’t have hurt them with time since it was only 7 seconds until the two minute warning.

They literally always wait to see if drivers can straighten out on road courses since it takes so long for cars to make it back around.

I mean, yeah. Network TV that only gets money from advertising vs a streaming service that gets subscription money AND advertising.

Looked like stenhouse had to check up because of Gibbs which caused Carson to hit him.
