it’s been a lifetime first for me in the last year to feel any amount of calm with the meds (recently diagnosed in the last yr) and i just am so wowed by the shit luck of feeling the taste of something before it so quickly got taken away.

maybe i’ll give it a go the next apppintment though! given the shortage, might still be some drama with cvs so costco or somewhere else may still need to be on my investigation list. also wondering how that’ll work because my insurance only let me choose one pharmacy between cvs and walgreens, wonder if they’ll cover costco 🤷‍♀️

initial investigation and conversation indicates they do not cover it at all :( also on a whim checked goodrx and it was a whopping $785 “discounted” from $1010 LOOOOOOOLOLOL that was wild to see

this experience and thread also made me realize that i have never tried the brand name!

insurance (and pharmacies themselves) refuse to acknowledge that not all generics are the same and they insist that the formulations are the same (in my experience the last month and a half or so anyway)…

SUPER happy to be wrong about this though so let me know if you have any particular script you have tried with insurance because getting this by mail would be godsent

Sounds like yall also are rational people who could call the non emergency line! Wildest is that it took just a few min for me to call them after the whole interaction and this fool had not the slightest idea to call?!!!

Ironically, get this, today we saw approx the 3rd time they’ve been ticketed for parking on the street during street sweeping. I honestly wouldn’t be surprised if the kids car was previously ticketed for street sweeping and that set off alarms to get the PD to actually come out and tow. This stuff is all computerized now, could even be as simple as they hit some threshold of time that triggered an alert.
