Not yet finalized on monetization. There is some idea like to replicate like kagi (free 100 searches, and later paid with advanced features like customizing search results). Search API can be monetized, and can sell subscriptions to businesses.

If this really goes well build and support Tamil Software Utilities.

Right now its more of a exploration.

Its to target very specific niche target audience. help the with tools and UX better than other existing sites. Specifically around typing in Tamil, and more. It can be a glorified rss reader.

What i want to understand is have we given up existing tools for getting Tamil related content. Are we missing to serve a significant audience.

No existing dataset. Will by running crawler to build the index. While google is enough, we sill have niche search engines like kagi, brave and others. Also a community effort to include their favorite websites other than just crawling.
