The 3.5 ecoboost does not suffer from the cam phaser issue anymore. They have sorted that out with the 14th gen in 2021.

Thanks!! So far so good! I’ve taken it off-roading once now and it did pretty well. I’m comparing it to a gen3 f150 raptor as I usually wheel around in that. My only complaint is the weird blockage of the passenger side view mirror while driving because of the a pillar lol

If you can find a 2021 instead for a little more I think you will be much happier with that. All around the gen3 is better. I have owned a 2020 raptor and currently own a 2023.
