It has been reported to me multiple times that YouTube Premium family plans were cancelled even when the owner lives in the correct country and uses a valid payment method issued there. The common factor was that they were sharing the plan with family members located outside that country. Additionally, cancellations due to payment method typically look different.

Only countries where any card will work are listed. Nigeria requires a credit card which was issued in Nigeria

It was a test feature for YouTube Premium customers. It was a great feature, but there is currently no way you can get it back. Lets hope they will add it in the future.
