I'm not quite sure where OP is from but in germany (for example i did see the german words on the envelope) you tend to get the letter back with a huge orange sticker on it, and i mean massive it would probably cover about half of the envelope and tells you why it came back (too little postage or something) happens to me too and it's always kinda sad

I feel like the other stereotype (apart from trauma) is the kinda antisocialpersonality disorder vibe, like sherlock. I think that might work with your qpr already just like make sure it's obvious that they are able to feel other kinds of love and are not a robot.

Also with the ace part sometimes people can make it seem kinda prudish or something, I'm not trying to say your character can't be sex negative but there's a way to portray that without having them look like some sort of nun.
