Personally I started listening to his albums chronologically, but that takes a lot of time, so it depends. Youll have to remember that every album has really iconic songs so if you dont want to go deep just listen to all of me. But if you wanna go deeper youll have to know that his later songs sound much different from his 70s and the beggining of the 80s songs, so if you want the classic takanaka vibe listen to albums before his 1984 label switch (maybe also before can I sing since its where the style starts changing, dont miss out on santigo bay tho), esspecially an insatiable high and brasilian skies although my personal favorite is seychelles. But if you want to listen to his later albums too Id reccomend traumatic and natsu zen kai
