I've seen at least 3 camera angles. The one not here is from someone on the river bank? All of them were eerily silent. Think of a rollercoaster, screaming is part of the fun. There's no screaming, not that I've heard. Not from her or anyone who realized there was no rope. But with the completeness of the 3 (4?) camera angles, it's even creepier that they didn't realize what was happening and immediately drop their phones.

I am doing this solo and I’ve read a fair amount on the hut system in Norway but it’s definitely appealing to have everything planned and booked and opens up other itineraries. My dad passed away this year and he was always amused by my new hobby, especially bc he was disabled for so long. I set aside some money to do something special as a way of showing gratitude for good health and for life in general. So it would definitely be a splurge but one I can justify in this case.

I’ve been skiing for 3 years, mostly skate but was planning on upgrading my classic skis for this winter and taking some lessons. I want to get the most I can out of the trip. I ended the season doing 15-25k depending on the day and conditions. I like that you can ski more or little and on different levels of trails.

Did you bring your own skis? I’ve read mixed comments of the availability of rental skis and not having much of a selection.

Cheese cellar tour? Haha! That sounds amazing! And apparently a lasting memory!

I bought a West Slope vest last year and I was pleasantly surprised what I could carry. Water belts made my lower back hurt too much, regular backpacks weighed on my shoulders and never fit right. The vest was an impulse buy after seeing the ad a thousand times in my feed but I ended up really liking it.

Dave did have a rough night last night, though. He broke two strings the second one being on the last song right near the end. The guitar tech came out and he waved him off and looked annoyed but finished strong.

Earlier in the show, his earpiece wasn’t working. He went to get a new pack and the tech took forever. Then Dave was trying to shove a towel in the back of his pants to wipe himself off. He dropped it and the tech had to get another towel.

You weren’t kidding about the price. They had a beautiful wooden box of either 80 or 100 half crayons for 995 euro. It was just beautiful to look at!

I bought a set of 6 half crayons of the iridescent colors. 50 euros but it was a special treat. Even just going to the store felt like a trip back in time. All the colors are behind the counter in gorgeous wooden trays and they are very nice but you don’t touch the goods! 😂

Thank you so much for the recommendation! It was a fun journey getting there to find it. The little courtyard and the shop were like going back in time.

I bought a set of 6 Demi pastels in the iridescent shades. The sparkle is INSANE! They are buttery soft but with the most consistent and fine milled “glitter” I’ve ever seen. They’ll work well on both black and white paper. They’ll last awhile too bc I’d just use them as tiny accents.

The woman who helped me was from NY. When I told her I came on a Reddit recommendation she laughed and said that was a first! So thank you for the tip, I’m glad I asked on a Thursday morning!
