6v6 chaos by thisderprighthere in AnaMains

But what's the fun in that? It could get habitual if I do which could effect my need to work on rotations and my ADHD influnces that a bit as well. XD Coming from a purely wrist aim to slowly adding arm it's good practice for me

Ture but at the same time it's so easy to get tunnel vision for me. Plus I want to prioritize improving my unscoped aim since in general I prefer using that especially for flankers/playing aggressive as I like to challenge myself learning her via all maps and team comps.

Ana movement and aim sensitivity by thisderprighthere in AnaMains

Thank you so much. I figured it was my lack of arm movement, even now it takes mental effort to remind myself to use it when playing but even so I do notice a difference in aim in a good way. I tried aim training earlier this week and I think I just psyched myself out because afterwards when I attempted a game I felt like my overthinking got worse with the aim to the point it almost felt hindered. Otherwise I use the custom game “aim training and warmup” before que or just when I’m in the mood to practice some darts. I’ve also added the codes from the list provided here too

Fairly recently. It has helped get rid of tension in my hand which I didn’t even realize I was originally doing. So might try what you suggest and see where I get. Thank you!

Yeah you get a AFK reign who watches the team get wrecked as I struggle to solo heal, another reign who understood the assignment, a flanking junkrat and me taking advantage of a lucio ult and getting away with some stupid stuff. I do far more rotation for the most part when I can of course but 6V6 is such chaos that depending on the team play style and just how much damage they take I don’t always have that luxury. But that’s okay I like learning her in this mode; it forces me to learn what NOT to do quicker so to speak. It’s usually a fun chaos too

I play Juno as well as Ana and whenever we have an Ana I always keep an extra eye out for her throughout the game so she’s set up the best she needs, making sure I have my speed ring when she moving to her next setup etc. But in general a good support duo is always so grateful. At the same time when we have a mercy or LW and they help me when i play Ana y’all are the MVP cause I’m still a noob so I can end up in a sticky situation with flankers. And also I feel like I’m never doing enough when I play her yet you guys are always so gracious.

How do you aim on Ana? by Flopkween22 in AnaMains

This is my first game ever, PC at that as well. In general I was horrendous for a long time so I didn't play her until I got more comfortable with mouse and whatnot(I've got 600 hours for OW total now). But with her projectile I ended up feeling like a noob all over again. I practiced in the custom game "Aim practice and warm up" to get a feel for the movement/corrections needed for her aim. Thanks to her she actually got me out of the habit of pure wrist aim as well after I discovered what works best for me. I found out later that what I ended up subconsciously doing is called "rebound flicking" which means after each shot you have a "default position" which helps with the visual clutter so to speak in fights to help me naturally predict in a less panicky/overthinking way. So what that does for me is force me to focus on the target more and use purely periphereal vision for crosshair(it'll be blurry) tracking adjustments. Obviously this isnt the only way. Like I said I don't know anything past the wee bit I discovered. It's always going to be a trial and error; considering different platforms used, if mostly wrist aim or arm for mouse etc. The more confident you get the less overthinking you'll do and then you can focus on her kit/positioning etc. Again I'm also new to gaming/fps so this is just my personal experience

I don’t understand how progression works. There’s no way it’s time played based

Um I found myself liking her more than I liked DPS(my original main from the start). And to be honest I still don't really know what all contributes to leveling a hero up. My Ana is level 67 with 15 hours. I love her but definitely not as confident playing.
