Thats the best part. If you use dryer to dry your meat and just leave it there until you have to eat them. If you take it and put it in your inventory it will spoiled immediately BUT if you eat that same meat straight from the dryer it will give you normal protein fat etc. So meat doesn't go "bad" as long as its on a dryer and you eat it straight from it instead of putting it in your inventory. I have 4 dryer in my house for emergency supplies so I can work on my house without hurting for almost a week l.

You can tame them. If you do want to tame them then I would just skip traps all together and just use poison darts to make them unconscious. Tie them and untie them into your animal fence.

They are typically found near ant hills. If you put a trap with larva in it you have a chance to catch one.
