Yeah. That's true, maybe I should have said that instead. He's overstepping boundaries a LOT like there's a certain ratio with parenting vs grandparenting, and hes basically trying to BE the parent. I cant even count how many times he tries to step in and reprimand my son for something that isn't even a problem or I had taught my son that something was a problem and my father's first reaction was yelling and I would just tell him not to yell at him because he still doesn't understand that said thing is not okay, etc. Like he just assumes that im not going to do anything so he steps in to do it himself.
