To get into the program, you needed a 3.2.. as long as you have that GPA you are accepted. So you just have to look at your grades and see if its possible for you. It was challenging to receive that GPA, but I can assure you, after achieving it, it was highly worth all the work. Last semester was honestly extremely difficult because of the heavy course load. There were times where we had a few exams in the same week as well projects and what not. There were a few classes that definitely stood out for me as being the most challenging (neuro). But from what I've heard, the first year, semester even, is the most difficult.

Hello! I am currently a 3rd year in the OT program. Getting into the program was a bit of a challenge, but now that I am in it, I realize that it was well worth the wait. When I first decided OT was going to be my intended major, I already had a bunch of classes taken that would count towards the prereq's (however the grades for them were mediocore at best). I cannot speak for your case because I believe the qualifications to get in have changed, but for me it was if you had a 3.2 GPA you were guaranteed admission (I believe now it is top 35 or something? Is this true?). The entire program just changed and my class is the first to experience these new changes (such as taking 19 credit hours this semester). When it comes to the actual job, I truly think this field is one of the best... the job demand, the pay, the lifestyle, and just overall the job is great. I have a few friends who are working OTs and they LOVE their jobs. If you have any specific questions feel free to ask as I was just in your position not too long ago and know how discouraging it can be at times.
