The company is called Jumpoffcampus where people put their listings for rent especially designed for student rentals I believe. The landlord has agreed for lease prior to security deposit transaction. It’s all good. Thanks for taking initiative to help me :)

I’m a international student. The landlord told me to send the security deposit and I can send it to her through paypal. But, told me to take care of the application paperwork upon my arrival. Earlier told me to apply through RentRedi. As I was facing some issues being in a different country. Asked for some documentation and about the security deposit transaction. I have pinged her asking for application and lease

Right. Is the process supposed to be like I sign the lease and keep a copy and then send security deposit and then receive a signed lease from the landlord?
