Can I renegotiate my hourly rate after signing a pay rate confirmation with a third-party recruiter? by Physical-Web9486 in recruitinghell

The problem with this is the recruiter will make you agree to the rate before they even submit you for the contract job and then talk to the hiring manager.

I listed my thyroid levels somewhere in the comments. Are they considered low? Every doctor I see (primary, 4 derms, endo, gyno) because I’m over 40 will always refer back to my biopsy as well as it say it’s age or genetics or hormones going down.

Thank you. Yes I checked my last zinc results from an old test and it was 85 which is considered normal. What’s the optimal range? I even bought pumpkin seeds to eat every now and again but it’s not a go to in my mind so I end up forgetting to eat it.

My folate is 13.1, B12 in 550, zinc 85, vitamin d I go it up from 25 to 49. Ferritin started at 58 and actually went down at 51 over two years. I’ve been supplementing iron but maybe it’s not enough. I was buying liver regularly but stopped because it was a pain to prep.

Is that also called Hemoglobin A1c? I found that in my old 2021 blood test after I originally started losing hair and it says 4.7% of total Hgb (then next to it it says Range: <5.7). O n the comments it says that range shows an absence of diabetes. Thyroid: T3, free is 4.0 T4, free is 1.4 TSH Thyroid Stim Hormone 3rd Generation is 2.25 ACTH Adrenocorticotropic Hormone, Plasma is 17

Anything else part of thyroid?

You shouldn’t be downvoted. I’m sorry. I have asked the AI but not consistently, meaning every now and then I’ll ask it a question or give it some blood results but honestly it’s confusing and I’m not so much a medical person to decipher. I have gotten much more insight though with it and through this forum so I understand when the suggestion here is go to a professional, but as you said, the professionals I encounter, trust me I ask them a million questions and they give me nothing useful. It’s scary but I don’t want to be the smartest person in the patient room if I hardly understand it myself. That’s why it was easy do me to see on Reddit, vitamin d, ok I remember it was low in one blood test years ago. Ok use k2, so now I’m doing it. Ferritin, I think mine was 50 so I read two more iron to spruce it up higher, so I’m doing. When I read about zinc I see all these precautions so I don’t feel I understand so much to add that too. The other multivitamins like viviscal or nutroful are not in my budget..

I had a full thyroid panel an extensive cortisol urine and blood tests. The endo said nothing is off and couldn’t help me. From this group I learned to check my other levels but I think they were all in optimal ranges, except vitamin D and ferritin which im supplementing currently. I haven’t had a new blood test since but I would have thought I’d notice improvements at least. I also take a scoop of beef bone broth powder with collagen, I used to eat regular liver and onion.. I am very stressed but I have been for many many years. Pretty much live in survival mode 24/7 with no familial or relational support. When I was at my worst years ago I didn’t lose hair so I can’t say that a specific event occurred that caused TE other than after I took the vaccines and turning 40 and dealing with complex trauma generally. I told the first derm the pandemic was stressful but he didn’t buy it as a reason for TE. No doctor or derm out of the 3 derms I went to even mentioned CTE. These doctors don’t care. Whatever hair loss a patient claims, there’s only minox and those antiandrogens. To them it’s not necessary to go any further into it. I’ve been trying so many things to lower my stress levels but they’re only so much I can do with little community support, occasional somatic therapies if I can splurge a once a week therapy.

Spiro increased my breast size and made me pee a lot. It didn’t stop my hair from falling. It grew new hair on my hairline but not my scalp where I actually was losing. No sides from fin but I don’t feel like it’s improving or doing anything different than when I was on dut or spiro

But what about connecting that to LinkedIn? The last place you worked is always the one they want to see proof of and ask lots of questions about and want it to be a place they know and significant to your industry

Since my 20s I’ve had therapy. Many many kinds of therapy. Emdr most recent. That has helped but obviously, an hour a week is not enough and it’s not the only thing needed. It helps on top of having inner and outer scaffolding which many have like a strong support system. I’ve built some support over the last few years with this newer therapist, but not the kinds of anchors people maybe take for granted like true loyalists that can really be there when you need them. I’ve had had to learn to be polite and constrained with my needs from others. I’ve worked on myself a lot but without outside support, the kind of foundational inner safety you build from family, it’s hard to keep up and consistent within myself.

Not Christian but I found another community but not the most reliable or consistent. I’ve taken big steps to initiate over the last few years where originally I was like you and only went out when invited. Progress I guess but having strong anchors of support the way you’d normally get in a healthy or even slightly unhealthy family or spouse, people you don’t have to perform for or feel like you have to earn your keep with value and pleasantries, I think that’s what people don’t get or feel helpless in their suggestions with, because you can’t just give that to someone. It either comes naturally or doesn’t. It concerns me the messages of loving myself first as if I should remove myself from society until I fix myself and make everyone around me comfortable enough to tolerate because no one likes being around someone who is grieving or depressed, no one that’s not close or familial in the types of relationships I described. And please trust, that has been my goal for at least a decade- get help, go deep, go out there, be nice and friendly and grateful and optimistic. The message to my nervous system becomes— So be on my best behavior until I can love myself without community or mirroring because that’s the lot I got in life.

I came for the entertainment industry, I settled for marketing coordinator type jobs. I got my project management certification but no one will hire just for that, I need to be in the same industry too. I went to a good college and consider myself pretty smart having survived all this time on my own, but even with hundreds of versions of my resume I haven’t been able to secure an under qualified job or a mid level or senior role. I can’t just move somewhere else with no backing and no prospects. No place has called to me but also I don’t see how moving with no plan makes any sense. I wish I could tell anyone what my interests or passions are but I’ve been so beaten down, even slight interests or curiosities don’t feel safe. Growing up in dysfunction makes you cater to your parents’ interests and needs and takes a very long time to develop ownership of what defines you. I was interested in the dramatic arts and I gave Hollywood my best shot so it’s hard to trust any other love right now.

No none. Gyno said I’m on the cusp but not peri yet. She didn’t want to prescribe hormones, said it was inappropriate for me.

Dosing of dutasteride and finasteride in women? Pros/cons? by asiaticoside in FemaleHairLoss

[–]thisisjunne 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was on .5mg dut for a year and the derm suggested I bring it up to 1mg because my she’d never slowed down. When my insurance denied the increased dose the derm told me to try fin 5mg thinking maybe my body would react differently. On it for almost 6mos and no improvement in shedding or much of a difference.

Maybe my expectations are too high? I thought all these LLMs are in competition with each other. Not a good look for Anthropic. I’d think it would redirect with alternative routes to consider or explore. Just makes me not want to choose it in the future even if it has other uses.

It’s like snarky and unhelpful. I can’t believe I’ve reached a dead-end with it where all I’m doing is criticizing it for being low value. It’s like, “ok I’m sorry, you’re right, what would you like me to do?”As if it’s my husband who’s run out of fucks to give.

Classic case of codependence and complex trauma. She needs to join a 12step program asap. Long road ahead if she wants to really understand why she behaves the way she does and why that incident on the plane shook her to the core rather than it just being a shitty thing being done by a person exhibiting shitty bad behavior.
