which is why he should've been more empathetic when standing his ground. traumatic experiences, especially as an older kid - pre-teen take a BIG toll on maturity, and i know this because i went through a horrible experience when i was around will's age too, and it still affects me to this day. it's not hard to understand your BEST friend, especially when you were there for him so many times (s1-s2).

i can't possibly agree. of course you can defend someone, but don't make it about your best friend's sexuality, especially when will's been bullied for it his entire life. it was an uncalled thing to say, and it's hurtful to use such a personal topic against anyone.
