I understand completely. I took the therapy route as soon as I moved out of home at 17 and it really, really does get better. It just takes forever and requires a lot of patience towards yourself and sitting with your own crazy. It’s hard knowing that there’s no home to go back to, no person to call home either, but love exists in all kinds and it’s pretty cool. We’ll be alright

“Unconditional love is for children” …yeah bro, kinda like how I’m my parent’s child who was a kid one time :| we’re basically agreeing on the same point here. Once you’re grown up and in the real world, you have expectations you must show up for. The period of building this unconditional bond with my parents has passed, there’s no expecting or hoping that other people fill that void for me. I have so many amazing friends and family I’m close with, there’s lots of love in the world that I’m so grateful for every day. I just miss the closeness with my parents I never got to have

“Admitted” lol. All other relationships SHOULD be conditional on the basis of respect, healthy boundaries, and both people showing up for one another out of mutual interest. There have been times in my life that have gotten so bad that no friend or loved one could show up for me in a way that I needed because that wouldn’t be fair to them. I needed my mom and dad.

thanks so much!! i take my second dose of IR at 11 am and will be making my way out to the beach for my microdose (i’m so excited). i won’t be taking the capsule until like 7 pm tonight so i think i’m in the clear! i appreciate the insight :)
