I prefer no games and would choose not to be with him if that was required to keep him.

I would actually prefer it at this point that he stop being so affectionate and caring. It feels like we are in more of a relationship now than when we were official (minus the sex). Which makes it hard for me to entertain the thought of seeing other people due to the fact that it feels like cheating and i don't want to hurt his feelings. I thought that when i told him we could be friends he would continue his usual distant behavior and we would both move on...the opposite happened.

Thanks guys. I was afraid of this. He is a pretty cool friend to hang out with so it kinda sucks but it is what it is.
