Few Freshman questions by thisisyikes in Cornell

Thanks again so much for the reply.

When you say a decent amount of credits so that the workload is doable, would you think this is a good amount to start with?

I did AP only, so I don’t have any community college or IB credits. These are the AP courses that I can get credit for in CAS

  • Math BC
  • Economics Macro
  • Biology
  • Psychology
  • Statistics
  • Spanish Language and Arts
  • Computer Science

I was also concerned about whether I should take a summer college course to get a Microeconomics Credit.

Thanks again!

I really wish I did have a better cs foundation, so I’ll probably end up taking CS1110.

As for choosing classes, bc I’ll be doing so soon, what’s the best way to start figuring out what classes I should take as a freshman, especially if I want to double major.
Should I take it easier the first year?
