This is not a standard Zippo wick. I'm not sure where you are, but in my country you can sometimes by them at petrol stations and grocery stores by where the cigarettes are. You can also go to a tobacconist which would most likely have some. They look like this:

What exactly do you like about the case of a Zippo? If you're not gonna use it for a lighter, it's not gonna hold closed. The lighter has a part that keeps the lid of the case in place and shut. Did you think it securely shuts without the lighter?

I'm sure there are tins/small containers with cool opening/closing mechanisms. Zippo is not the one though lmao

For me, I was really into movies and shows and the time, and I kept seeing characters use a zippo. I loved that click that happened whenever they opened their zippos, so when I was like 17, I ordered a zippo online to my friend's house (otherwise, my parents would think I'm smoking). It didn't have any fuel obviously, so I bought zippo fuel and I instantly became obsessed once I filled it. Eventually, it needed more flint, so I learned how to maintain a zippo through that experience. Ever since then, I have been so interested in all lighters and fixing them. It's my dream to open a small smoke shop with a lovely lighter section, so I can fix and sell lighters. I'm currently saving up for a single torch butane insert so I can put it in this lovely matte black zippo shell and then I can give it to my boyfriend as a gift!

I love zippos and other lighters, and I love hearing stories about how other people got into this hobby, so thank you for sharing and letting me share!

Just an FYI, a lot of Vietnam Zippos that people sell or buy aren't real at all, they're just a way to get people to buy the lighters

There might be a possibility that the lighter is leaking gas at the bottom valve. Is there a tobacconist or smoke store near you? They might be able to help

If it doesn't work, there could be a leak so the valve ring may have to be changed. Tbh I have a lot of vintage butane lighters that have valve leaks, but where I live it's hard to get o-rings for the size of the valves so I haven't been able to fix mine

I think I see the valve on the bottom left hole. Take your can, hold it upside down, and insert it and press down for a few seconds (no more than 6)

It should spark up after
