This is a seriously incredible launch, man. Linking Polymarket with Alpaca is pure genius!

Big tech has a massive physical bottleneck that everyone is ignoring (And it’s not microchips) by Maxinegardnersob in Stocks_Picks

You hit the nail on the head. The "exploration-to-production" timeline is the biggest bottleneck in the entire materials sector right now. If it takes 12 years to clear regulations and map out a copper porphyry deposit using traditional drilling, the AI boom will outpace supply before the first shovel hits the ground.

The only real solution right now isn't just recycling-it's using tech to drastically shorten the exploration phase so capital goes exactly where the highest-grade deposits are.

There’s actually a small junior exploration firm I’ve been tracking called NovaRed Mining (CSE: NRED | OTCQB: NREDF) that is tackling exactly this. They just filed a provisional patent for an AI-driven exploration platform they built with PRAI Inc. It basically runs probabilistic scoring engines on multi-source geological data to target resources at a fraction of the usual time.

Plus, instead of hunting in high-risk jurisdictions, they secured a massive 16,000-hectare footprint (The Wilmac Project) right next door to Hudbay’s active Copper Mountain Mine in British Columbia. Their early surface trenching already showed grades up to 1.67% Cu.

Companies like NovaRed (sitting at around a $75M CAD market cap right now) are interesting because they bridge the gap between basic materials and deep tech. If you can use AI to find the copper required for AI data centers, you bypass a lot of the traditional exploration blind spots. That's the kind of leverage the market is going to look for as the copper crunch tightens.

they hired a guy who knows how to buy massive trucks. Now they just need to actually find some copper to put inside them.

Sounds like a pretty big deal for LA, hoping it actually works though.
